National Wear Red Day in Fort Wayne

Wear Red Day is on February 1, 2013

Did you know that heart disease kills more women than all cancers combined?  It is our nation’s #1 killer, taking the lives of 2,200 Americans every single day.

The American Heart Association works to fund research and fight this deadly epidemic so that more lives can be spared – Your help is needed!

Here are some ideas to support the American Heart Association on Wear Red Day…

Call Emily Hayes, your Heart Ball Director, for bookmarks, posters, pins, stickers and other materials to create awareness!  260-433-2110 or email Emily.hayes@heart.org

Have employees pay to wear jeans and a red shirt to work (and they receive a red dress pin)
Sell red hearts, red dress pins or red dress stickers in your office
Host a fundraiser at your office, like a bake sale or car wash
Having a mini-fundraiser at home or work is fun and easy, especially if you do it with friends!
